Testimonials
“Accidents are a natural part of an adventurous childhood and I had plenty growing up and never really thought about it. Throughout my teens I had several head injuries, which I also paid little attention to, but as I reached my thirties I became more and more bogged down with fatigue, headaches and brain fog. I was 40 when I started seeing Clive and was so tired and dizzy all the time I had to sleep at least three times throughout the day, so was unable to get a full-time job and was struggling to look after my family. I was also quite depressed. It was really interesting watching Clive do all the detective work on my body, and bit by bit I started feeling better. After a year I achieved my goal of getting into full-time employment; now, after almost two years I’m feeling healthier and more energetic than I have done in years. A lot of pain has gone and, in its place, I have improved cognitive function. It’s a double thumbs up from me.”

“It is quite difficult to describe how exactly this treatment works in just a few lines, and how truly life-changing it can be. I was recommended to see Clive as I was suffering with long standing shoulder pain of 2-3 years and hardly able to sleep or move without a great deal of discomfort.
I had ridden and competed horses as a teenager and through my 20’s, and taken some quite bad falls. I think after each trauma my body did the natural thing by compensating and adapting until it approached middle age and just couldn’t function properly any more.
When faced with GP’s wanting to give you strong pain killers, surgeons wanting to operate, and various people assuring you that they can cure the problem, it is really confusing and stressful to figure out where to start and who best to go to in order to get help. It’s easy to be fobbed off with the regular “Oh well you’ll have to live with it and take painkillers”, or “You’re almost 50, its normal to be in discomfort at your age” type phrases. However I really didn’t want to give up and accept that this was going to be my life for the next 20-30 years. I really didn’t want to go for surgery if all the muscles and supporting structures around my shoulder weren’t working – because adding scar tissue on top of poorly functioning soft tissue would only (to my mind) make things worse.
I liked the sound of applied kinesiology together with osteopathy, because the kinesiology testing can quickly decipher where the true problems lie. So in a relatively short appointment time, Clive was able to perform lots of tests in quick succession, and then make very targeted adjustments, exactly where they were needed and in order of priority.
For me, it was fascinating to see how seemingly unrelated areas of my body that were causing no discernible pain affected my shoulder, and having these areas released really changed the way my body moved and worked. After each appointment I could feel muscles that used to tire whilst walking up hills start to feel stronger, and I could see proof of greater ranges of motion in moving my arm without ending up in intense pain.
It’s obvious that Clive is hugely experienced in resolving complicated and long standing biomechanical issues, but he’s also really happy to explain what he was doing by showing me on his comprehensive wall charts and diagrams what the kinesiology tests had revealed and how he was putting me back together – sometimes these were easy for me to understand and sometimes less so!
It can take a few appointments to unravel everything, and I did feel a bit out of balance at times when my body was trying to adjust back to correct function, but this didn’t last long. I can gladly report that my body can do things at almost 50 that it couldn’t do at 40 and I literally have no pain now. Being in pain is so lowering and tiring, and just reduces your enthusiasm for life.
I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to try this treatment, and trust going through the process with Clive, who I literally owe a huge debt of gratitude to, for learning this complex and fascinating process and giving me a happily functioning body again.”

“Over the last ten years, I have had three occasions where I have sought Clive’s help with back or leg pain. On two occasions my symptoms disappeared after just one session with him. It was quite simply remarkable. On the third occasion, I required two main visits with occasional follow up. When I look back to the first time I visited Clive I cannot believe that I spent a year of pain contemplating that first visit. During that year, I had been referred to doctors and to hospitals but to put it bluntly, the NHS didn’t have a clue how to help me. Clive did – and for that I am hugely grateful. My other big surprise was that Osteopathy with Clive was so gentle and easy. If you are in pain or discomfort- go and see Clive Lindley-Jones. He is amazing!”

“Clive has treated very longstanding difficulties with my back, neck and shoulders and hands/wrists. He has been able to analyse the root cause of the difficulties and through this treat each problem effectively. Clive has managed to get to the root of long term neck and back pain. He is fantastic at explaining what he is discovering during treatment. I wish I had been treated by Clive 15 years ago. Thank you.”

“As usual I arrived hardly able to walk and leave walking. Thank you Clive!”

“Clive’s ability to diagnose musculoskeletal problems and get to the heart of the problem, often in the space of one session, is remarkable. Accurate diagnosis makes for much more efficient treatment and prevention of recurrence. Clive has sorted me out after any number of cycling and skiing accidents.”
