To start us off this year what better book than Food is Better Medicine than Drugs by Patrick Holford & Jerome Burne.
I have known Patrick for many years and he is a great populariser of powerful, science based information that is often not otherwise widely disseminated. He and award winning medical journalist, Jerome Burne, have provided us with a useful guide to feeling better, living longer, staying free from disease without drugs and how modern medicine has become distorted by the power of the pharmaceutical industry.
In this excellent book you can find out how, with a little effort and lifestyle changes, you might be able to do better for yourself by changing what you eat than always swallowing those pills.
This is not a fanatical attack on drugs, which can often be real life savers, but rather a sane and balanced look at the whole distorted field.
